Bone Tears is a 28-page, full color chapbook accompanied by a 10-inch scalloped lathe-cut record of lauren reading and singing the poems that she has set to music. The chapbook and album cover feature lauren's original artwork.

Kepi Ghoulie, Lauren Napier, and Vic Ruggiero road tripped down the west coast and recorded a few songs for this cassette only release on This & That Tapes.

This collection was recorded in Graz during the November full moon - also referred to as the mourning moon. SAMO, my faithful feline companion, kept me and Tom Zwanzger (AntiFlag, Astpai) company as we reimagined the songs at STRESS Studios. I had written the songs in my room, just me and the cat, so sitting in the studio with an array of instruments and another human’s input put me in a different realm. Over a few days, the melodies manifested into the melancholy spaghetti western soundtrack I had always wanted.
